Moonlight & Sacred Connection
Grandmother Moon - The Sacred Darkness of Becoming

On November 8, we gather just hours before the Scorpio New Moon. In astrology, Scorpio symbolizes the mysteries beneath the surface: our hidden wisdom, emotional depths, transformation, and renewal.
Grandmother Moon welcomes us into her celestial garden.
“Ahhh, beloved one…
“When my light disappears from your sky, I have not ceased to exist. I am simply resting in the mystery of becoming.
“And so it is with you.
“There are seasons when your brilliance feels hidden. But your light has not abandoned you. It waits within you, as faithfully as the stars wait behind the daylight.”
Mercury & Venus - The Sacred Pathways of Return

Mercury and Venus are both retrograde, appearing to move backward through the heavens from Earth's perspective.
Mercury in Scorpio symbolizes revisiting old stories, unspoken truths, and the wisdom of our experiences. Venus in Libra invites reflection on love, relationships, harmony, and the value we place upon ourselves.
Mercury speaks first:
“I have been walking backward through the corridors of remembrance, gathering the truths that have gone unspoken.
“Beloved one, what wisdom have your experiences left behind?”
Venus gently joins him.
“And I have been gathering the love that has forgotten its own reflection.
“When did you begin to believe that love must be earned?
“When did you mistake keeping the peace for honoring your own heart?”
Mercury smiles.
“Perhaps remembrance and love have always belonged to the same great conversation.”
Mars & Jupiter - When the Sacred Fires Awaken

Mars and Jupiter gather close together in Leo, a sign associated with courage, creativity, joyful expression, and the heart.
In astrological symbolism, Mars represents the courage to act, while Jupiter represents expansion, possibility, and celebration.
Mars raises his golden flame.
“When did you begin to fear the magnificent fire that lives within you?
“The courage to sing, to dance, to speak your truth, to offer your gifts—this fire was never meant to be hidden.”
Jupiter's magnificent laughter fills the garden.
“Ahhh, Mars! And among all the stars and galaxies, there has never been another being quite like you!
“When was the last time you celebrated the extraordinary miracle of simply being alive?”
Mugwort - The Dreamweaver of the Living Earth

And now the heavens grow quiet, for a different voice is rising.
It belongs to Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris), a silver-green herb long associated in European and Asian herbal traditions with dreams, protection, intuition, and women's healing practices.
Historically, Mugwort has appeared in herbal preparations and dream-related folklore. These traditional associations are part of her story, though they do not establish that listening to her music produces the same effects.
Tonight, Mugwort joins us not as a remedy to be consumed, but as a living botanical musician.
Through Plant Music Therapy™, her changing electrical activity is translated into musical notes, inviting us to listen to the living world in a different way.
Mugwort lifts her leaves toward Grandmother Moon.
“Ahhh, Grandmother, we plants have never forgotten how to belong.
“We do not ask the rose to become a cedar, or the violet to bloom like the sunflower.
“Each living being carries its own expression of the great mystery.
“Then let us sing, Grandmother. Let us sing until the dreamers remember the wonder of being alive.”
The Celestial Gathering - When Heaven and Earth Remember Together

And so they gather.
Grandmother Moon brings the mystery of renewal.
Mercury brings the wisdom of remembrance.
Venus brings the sacredness of love.
Mars brings the courage to express ourselves.
Jupiter brings the joy of being alive.
And Mugwort brings the music of the living Earth.
Together, their symbolic invitations become the inspiration for an evening of sacred connection, reflection, and living plant music.
Grandmother Moon turns toward you.
“Ahhh, beloved one.
“Everyone has arrived.
“And now there is only one presence missing from our gathering.
“Yours.”
